WEBINAR: Electronic Registration & Title

Thursday, December 8

Electronic Registration & Title:

How Colorado’s new system will change title
processing and customer satisfaction forever

If you missed the in-person Electronic Registration & Title seminar this morning, you're in luck! Dealers only, join us for the special webinar:

Thursday

December 8

8 - 9:30 a.m.

The state of Colorado's new Electronic Registration & Title is open for business! ERT is technology that lets dealers electronically submit the Application for Registration and/or Title (DR-2395), along with all the supporting documents, to the DMV.

This electronic process replaces the time spent waiting mailing or physically bringing documents to the DMV for processing.

Now, you can register a vehicle for your customers, then the license plates and registration stickers/cards are directly mailed to them. That means no more appointments, drives to the DMV and long lines just to pay registration fees and get license plates. You’ll look like a hero!

DEALERS ONLY: Join us Thursday, December 8 as Brian Ekstrand, Regional Sales Manager and Cindy Vierya, Account Manager with CADA’s exclusive Endorsed Provider Dealertrack Registration and Title walk us through Electronic Vehicle Registration & Title: How Colorado’s system will change title processing and customer satisfaction forever. (Note: If you are not a CADA dealer member, your registration will be cancelled.)

Designed for Controllers, Business and Office Managers, Title Clerks and Finance Managers, you’ll learn what you need to be prepared for ERT processing in Colorado, including tips and tricks, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

Webinar Tomorrow! Wednesday, November 9

Colorado’s FAMLI begins in January. Employers AND employees are required contribute to the fund. Are you ready?

WEBINAR

Wednesday, November 9

8 - 9:30 a.m.

Colorado’s statewide paid family and medical leave insurance program (FAMLI) starts in January. For all of 2023, employers and employees each will contribute to this fund through payroll taxes, so when January 1, 2024 rolls around, employees can begin taking paid leave benefits — from 12 to 16 weeks during the calendar year.

As long as they meet certain criteria.

And it’s mandatory.

Make sure you’re ready to go well before January 1. Join us Wednesday November 9 for the webinar, Prepping for FAMLI: What you need to do to comply by January 1 by CADA Endorsed Provider American Fidelity to find out how.

Designed for Dealer Principals, Owners, General Managers and Controllers, Melissa McDuffey, American Fidelity's HR/Benefit Consultant will help you understand more about the program, requirements you must follow and how you can prepare your employees for it.

CADA’s 2022 Dealer Voter Guide

If you haven't voted yet, take a moment to check out our Dealer Voter Guide. Your vote — and that of every person on your team — has the chance to change the makeup of our state legislature.

Why this year?

A newly established district, along with tight races in five other districts (see page 2), offer one of the greatest opportunities for change and a shift in the balance of power at our state legislature. That’s only if you vote — and if you encourage your teams to vote — for those legislators and candidates who understand and appreciate freedoms personal vehicles offer Coloradans.

Check out the guide — and how your legislators voted on issues important to franchised new car dealers in Colorado. You'll find a description of the bill, CADA's (aka Dealers') position on it, legislators and the districts they represent, as well as how they voted on the issue.

At the top of the page, next to each featured bill, you’ll see a green or red dot. The color indicates whether CADA supported (green) or opposed (red) the bill.

From there, you can see whether your legislators voted with the Colorado auto industry’s position or against it. Because this is a guide that evaluates your legislators’ attitudes toward the auto industry in Colorado, voting for or against an incumbent should be an easy decision.

On page 3, you’ll find a discussion on the 2022 ballot issues that could affect our industry, along with CADA’s position on each issue. Again, we hope this discussion will help you make the decision easy for or against each issue.

As you review the people and issues up for your vote by next Tuesday, keep in mind how incumbent legislators voted — and thank those who have supported our industry with a vote.
